Jr. Field Apprentice
THE MISSION
ACRONYM Contracting Group is looking to invest in the next generation of builders. We are seeking a Junior Apprentice who wants to learn the trade correctly in a supportive environment. Our goal is to teach you the skills—from framing to electrical—that will build your career for the long term.
THE STANDARD
We are looking for potential, not perfection. If you bring a good attitude and a willingness to learn, we will provide the mentorship. We value curiosity and asking questions over guessing. We want you to grow with us, not just work for us.
STATUS
Part-Time / Per Diem (Irregular Hours) A great opportunity for students or those new to the trades who need a schedule that respects their other commitments.
REQUIREMENTS
Attitude: Eager to learn and ready to contribute to the team effort.
Logistics: Reliable transportation to job sites in Riverside/SoCal.
Gear: Steel/composite toe boots and long pants required for safety. We provide all the power tools, PPE, and training you need to succeed.
COMPENSATION & TERMS
HOURLY RATE: $25.00 / HR
This is a W-2 position. Taxes will be withheld legally.
Strictly No Cash / "Under the Table" offers.
PAY SCHEDULE:
Frequency: Weekly (Fridays).
Method: Direct Deposit.
HOURS & AVAILABILITY:
Zero Guaranteed Hours: This is a "Per Diem" role. You are paid only for the hours you are dispatched and working.
Minimum Call-Out: If we call you out, you are guaranteed a minimum of 4 hours pay for that day, even if the job takes 1 hour.
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x for any time over 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week (as per CA Law).

FIELD TECHNICIAN (On-Call)

ACRONYM Contracting Group is a team-first company serving both commercial and residential clients. We believe in autonomy, not micromanagement. We are looking for skilled tradespeople who take pride in their craft and want a work environment where their expertise is trusted and respected
THE STANDARD
We don't believe in looking over your shoulder. We hire professionals who know how to manage their own workflow. You will be working alongside us on electrical systems, structural repairs, and finish work. We value clear communication, safe working habits, and a genuine desire to do the job right.
STATUS
Part-Time / Per Diem (Irregular Hours) This position is for on-call deployment. Ideal for skilled tradesmen looking to fill gaps in their schedule with high-paid, focused field work.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Comfort on both commercial and residential sites. We need someone who can solve problems on the fly and represent our brand well in client homes.
Logistics: Valid CA Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Tools: To do your best work, you’ll need your own daily drivers (Belt, Hand Tools, Impact/Drill). We provide all consumables and heavy specialty equipment.
